This Radio used since the Dutch colonial era. Under the company NIROM (Nedrelansch Indische Radio Omroep Maatschappij), or Bureau of the Radio Broadcast of the Dutch east Indies, the Dutch colonial government emit broadcast through the radio of this type with the use of the Dutch language.
Radio is the evidence of the generation of the early when the company first broadcast in Indonesia there and the biggest at that time, which is about the 1930s.
