Museum Sandi as a Technical implementation Unit (UPT) of Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara (BSSN) be the one and only museum of cryptography in Indonesia. When was unveiled on July 29, 2008, the Museum Sandi occupies the ground floor of the Museum of Struggle. The collection of more and more and the desire to provide excellent service, then the Museum Sandi is transferred in the Way of people who answered. Muridan Noto No. 21, Kotabaru, Yogyakarta. The building of the Museum Sandi now an ex-office of the Ministry of foreign Affairs at a time when the government of the Republic of Indonesia in Yogyakarta. The inauguration of the new location of the Museum Sandi is implemented by the Agency Head of Cyber and Password of State Major General TNI Dr. Djoko Setiadi, M. Si. together with the Governor of yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X on January 29, 2014.

            Museum Password in particular displays a collection of artifacts and historical objects in the form of realia, replica, diorama, drawings and other documents related to coding as well as provide education to the community about the culture of information security. In addition to displaying a collection of machine-machine password, the Museum Password also administer the Site of the House the Password that is located at Dukuh, Purwoharjo, Samigaluh, kulon Progo and Monument Sanapati that are in the Way I Dewa Nyoman Oka precisely in the east of the Church of Santo Antonius, Kotabaru. The site Houses the Password is the password of an emergency during the War of Independence II in the year 1948-1949. As for the Monument Sanapati is tetenger built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Coding of Indonesia. The inauguration was held on April 4, 1996 by the Secretary of State, Mr. Moerdiono.

Today, the Museum Password manage as many as 232 fruit is placed into the space save and nine space collection. The facilities contained in the Museum Password, among others, hall, library, community room, prayer rooms, gazebo, guest house, laboratory and Wi-Fi access.
