MUSEUM SUSILO SUDARMAN

Museum Soesilo Soedarman is a historic building shaped museum which houses relics Jendral TNI (Purn) Soesilo Soedarman during devote myself, either as a soldier of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) of the Army and while serving in various ministries during the reign of Suharto. The Museum is located in the Village of Gentasari, Kecamatan Kroya, Cilacap Regency, Central Java.

The museum building occupies the Hall of This Mbah Ageng built in 1899 by Grandmother Dipakarsa, penatus (stakeholders village government) the first Village Gentasari also known as Eyang Medalist and is the great-grandfather of Soesilo Soedarman. As a kid, this is where Soesilo Soedarman spend time with the study of religion under the guidance of his grandfather. The architectural concept of This Mbah Ageng, very show buildings jawa khas Banyumas with the roof of the towering pyramid-shaped and supported by a dozen pillars of teak wood.
