Batik Dragon Tapa

Batik Dragon Tapa Purbalingga symbolizes magic, power, and strength. So this batik was only worn by officers in the line of duty. Its use is widespread in the environment government on the leadership of the Regent IX, Aryo Sugondho.

Batik Dragon Tapa stored in the Museum of Prof. Dr. R. Soegarda Poerbakawatja this is the work of R. A. Soegiarti (born in Purbalingga on December 28, 1897) grandson of the Regent VI Raden Tumenggung Dipokusumo IV. Batik is made for the working uniform of the husband Raden Mas Aboesono who works as the Head of the Post Office in Purbalingga on approximately 1940.
