Statue of the Asmat or known as Mbis this is one of the priceless pieces of art owned by the community of the Tribe of Asmat. Not only attractive aesthetically, but Mbijs also spiritual value because it describes the relationship between them and the spirits of the ancestors. Statue of Mbis created just as a warning against those who respected it. This sculpture is made from mangrove wood.
