The Local Museum of Local Government district of Grobogan Regency, the full name of this museum, located in Jalan Pemuda no. 35, Purwodadi right across from the office of the Department of Education and Culture Kabupaten Grobogan.
In this museum there is a diverse collection of prehistoric artifacts to ethnographic artifacts. The collection that owned, among others, fossils of sea shells (the proof that the area Grobogan on the glacial still in the form of oceans), jaw Stegodon (an ancient elephant), artifacts with the Hindu religion of limestone (arca-arca, it), brick red, pipisan, ceramic objects (plates, bowls, and jars), some parts of the gamelan ”Senenan” (so called because it sounded/played only every Monday at the time of Bupati Grobogan held a meeting with citizens), dimples (fixtures pounding rice), pirates (tools to cultivate the land of rice fields before planting)
